Moser's Austrian Cafe
In 1999, Moser’s Michigan Street Cafe and Catering was opened in the small town of New Carlisle, Indiana. As it grew in popularity, founder, Werner Moser, changed the name to Moser’s Austrian Cafe in 2006 in order to better highlight the Austrian and German cuisine. As Moser’s became a household name, the cafe expanded into a larger building in July 2014.
The historic, brick building is adorned with Bavarian décor, collected over the years by the Moser family and dedicated patrons. The hardwood oak flooring complements the ornate, antique metal ceiling, and provides the perfect backdrop for the wait staff, sporting traditional Lederhosen and Dirndls. Upstairs is a quaint bar area used for special events and outside is a front patio, for the perfect al fresco dining experience.
A popular menu item is the tenderized, breaded, meat, known as Schnitzel, which comes in several varieties. This pairs perfectly with a cold, frothy Stiegl Pilsner, imported directly from Salzburg, Austria. In fact, Moser’s is the #1 seller of Stiegl in America! Come to Moser’s Austrian Cafe to immerse yourself in an authentic Bavarian cultural experience!
